Encountered below error while trying to login into OBIEE analytics.
Error Details: In NQServer log
Error Message From BI Security Service: WSM-06162 The policy referenced by URI “oracle/wss_username_token_service_policy” could not be retrieved as connection to Policy Manager cannot be established at “t3://host:port,host:port” due to invalid configuration or inactive state.
Step 1: Login to Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM by going to (for eg) http://host:port/em
Step 2: Login with your weblogic credential.
Step 3: Expand the Application Deployments > Internal Applications and check the status of wsm-pm.
Step 4: If its Down, start it.
Step 5: wsm-pm should start up. Ensure your database is running.
Step 6: Restart BI Services.
Step 7: You should be able to login in now.
