After installing OSB and OEPE (oepe-helios-all-in-one-188.8.131.52.1.201010012100-linux-gtk-x86_64) for Windows 7, I couldn’t see OSB perspective at all in the Eclipse.
OEPE is the acronym for Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse, a set of Eclipse plugins to facilitate development of Java SE, Java EE, Web service, ORM, and Spring applications on Oracle WebLogic Server. Click here for more info.
To resolve this issue, all I did was copy the oracle.osb.ide.link file from the Middleware Home Eclipse install to the dropins directory of the new Eclipse install and the wizards were available when I restarted the new Eclipse. The oracle.osb.ide.link file has this as the contents:
Also, make sure that location of weblogic home, osb home and harvester home are updated in eclipse.ini, otherwise one will face issues while creating/opening a OSB Project.
